Standardization, Testing and Quality Certification (STQC): It is a Govt organisation under the Ministry of telecommunication and have their own safety mark "S". They are preferred for only those items which are not mandatory in India.They can issue certificates for both Safety & EMC.They can iussue the certificates based on the CB reports. As compared to BIS they are faster and economical also.
